# Identifying grants

## Fundsorter

[Fundsorter](https://fundsorter.com) is a new tool that helps New Zealand charities **find and apply** for **contestable grant funding**.

> Within a matter of minutes, community organisations can find strategically aligned opportunities, generate high-quality applications, and then submit those applications to the funders. We have developed:
>
> * A **comprehensive database** of available **funding opportunities** (currently over 2,200 and growing each day)
> * A **matching algorithm** that matches community organisations needs with available grants.
> * A tool that writes excellent **draft funding applications** based on information from the funder and the fund-seeker.
> * And coming soon... funding accountability drafts and predictive funding suggestions.
>
> Fundsorter is driven by a vision of a more equitable funding landscape, and a tech-enabled reduction in the funding burden. We hope Fundsorter will allow the people working and volunteering in community organisations to focus their efforts more on the mahi, and less on the resourcing.

If you'd like to join Fundsorter, [get in touch with us](mailto:contact@giftcollective.nz), and we can get you set up.
